On arriving in Windhoek we looked for accommodation near Joe’s Beerhouse. New we would be lazy after walking around Windhoek for the day. Hotel Eros we found around the corner was walking distance from where we would eat the night, and the rooms very nice with bar fridge and aircon, breakfast included.
We drove to the top of Windhoek water tower for nice panoramic view over Windhoek old german church.
The Christuskirche is over 100 years old, from there we took a walk around the CBD, and stopped at Cafe Schneider for coffee and Schnitzelbrotchen.
Namibia people are really friendly and very helpful, all smiles.
Joe’s Beerhouse restaurant was the highlight of the evening, but the food was way to much. Great food and great service from the waiters.
I did not make a turn at the bathrooms but on the way out we stopped at the bar and the seat of the chairs can fortunately not open. :)
Good nights sleep and we are on our way to Etosha National Park to see animals!
