I had to kite board on Walvisbay strip, it is not where the famous high speed record attempts are made but just to add to my tick list.
Fran was worried, seeing I was the only kite boarder desperatire in the light wind conditions on the water.
We took a trip to the Walvisbay marina/waterfront. They used an old kiteboard as a table top at the restaurant where we had an afternoon snack.
Checked out the flamingos near the salt factory. The ocean is on both sides of the road on the way to the flamingos and even the water got the pink colour.
When went for romantic dinner at the restaurant on the water where I tried to kitesurf earlier the day in Walvisbay.
The road from Swakopmund to Walvisbay is beautiful with the contrast of the desert on the one side and the cold ocean on the other.
Ai die weer wil net nie in Juan se guns tel nie. Hier in Luderitz het die wind gister te erg gewaai en vandag is daar weer geen. Dink die man lei al aan ontrekkings simptome!!!
